We're back in action!
When confronted with my options of lazing around and not pursuing my physical health, or instead actually doing something about it, Patrick suggested the KFB. I wanted to do this straight from the end of the PCP, so I'm glad we got it going! Thanks Patrick, I'll make you proud. In fact, my goal is to actually make myself proud. I'm actually quite excited for the non-physical aspects of the project. I've written goals down, some I'd like to complete before the end, some I know I can't.
•Write more, almost daily.
•Keep a plant in the house. Looking for a Peace Lily.
•Run 20 miles.
•10 Hand-stand pushups. I could do one before PCP ended. Let's go for the gold! (Thanks Ren for this goal)
•6-pack. Present and future, never absent.
•Meditate comfortably for long periods of time without driving myself bored/crazy.
•Feel healthy all the time, every day.
•Spend less-to-little time on the computer and other electronics. (Difficult with my job)
•Find my youthful focus again, and learn to use it productively.
I'm sure my interests will shift, but that's what I'm going for. I have to say, I really miss low body fat. A lot. I felt so much healthier around 10%. I felt so capable of moving my frame around and I never felt bloated.
Through each step, good decision or bad, we make progress toward truly understanding ourselves and the world around us. While things may not go perfectly at times, we can make the best of what we have, and learn from it. I took over a month's hiatus from working out and proper eating habits. From this, I've learned what I previously wouldn't have been able to, which is how quickly peak condition can fade, and how long it can last. What it takes to maintain it. How easy it is to regress back to old habits. But I've learned what this all looks like, and I look forward to controlling it better, and learning more about myself throughout these next 3 months and beyond.
So, without further ado-
KICK ASS, TEAM!
Yippee ki yay, mother fucker!!! Those are some serious goals.
