Okay, so I'm actually feeling ok. Immediately after surgery I don't remember, but otherwise I stood up, left, went right to the store, bought some bananas and yogurt, got my prescription meds(painkillers), and went home to pass out. Just woke up, feel fine other than my jaw starting to realize it should be in pain (and it is). Might go back to bed for a while.
I should have been more clear- my friend drove me to these places. I was stumbling a bit, could not drive.
I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out. Apparently I was saying some very interesting things when I came to... very odd things lol. I luckily never had much swelling at all and very minimal pain. I only took pain killers for the first 3 days. My sister had hers taken out 4 days after me and we were eachothers DDs. She wasn't so lucky and was in pain for weeks. She used up all of her meds and the rest of mine :P
ReplyDeleteI'm doing alright. I was completely alert when I came to. I just tried to chew something soft, that was a mistake. Back to the blender.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, pain meds! No wonder you were so enthusiastic about my nun story.
ReplyDeleteWhen I had my wisdom teeth removed, I took ibuprofen. I couldn't handle those painkillers. They put me down. Sending you healing vibes! And, take it easy!
Man this is hardcore training! Meditate on the pain!
ReplyDeleteOuch.
ReplyDeleteWow. You have immediately taken it to 11 on the ManUP-ometer. And we are barely into the first week. Can't wait to see who tops this!
ReplyDeleteRemember: pain doesn't hurt...well ok having parts surgically removed, that counts as 'hurts' I guess...
Haha, thanks for the kind words guys. I did try meditating on the pain, actually. Although I've been pre-empting it with this Hydrocodone. I never never ever take pain killers, so this is a bit weird for me, but I figured it'd make it easiest to bear through. Off to my day 4 workout! Doing this on prescription pain killers should make it easy!
